Yantek, Steven

Refuge was formed out of the healing and recovery God brought Steven. The Lord healed Steven from a twenty plus year addiction of sexual sins. Refuge provides men a safe place to come and receive the healing power of Jesus through discipleship, either in a one-on-one setting or with a group through the Refuge Recovery Program. Refuge also offers training to parents by helping parents have healthy age appropriate conversations with their children starting as early as two years of age up through high school about the dangers of pornography, sex trafficking, social media awareness, and the gift of sex in marriage. Steven provides training for leadership of the local church and is partnered with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Victim Services and Cyber-Crimes Unit, helping to share the Gospel with those who have been arrested for sex crimes. Steven graduated with a BS in Youth Ministry and Bible from Columbia International University and lives in Blythewood, SC with his wife Lisa and son Luke.
