Barber, JohnJohn Barber Ph.D.
Professor of Theology and Culture Whitefield Theological Seminary Lakeland, Florida Rev. John J. Barber Ph.D., was born in New York City and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. An ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America for over 30 years, he has served the church as an itinerant evangelist and church planter. His principle area of ministry now is starting and overseeing Reformed Theological Colleges in East and Central Africa. He has also served in Italy, India, and the Middle East. He holds degrees from Yale University and Northwest University, South Africa. He is the author of numerous articles on Christianity and culture, as well as several books on the topic, including Earth Restored and The Road from Eden: Studies in Christianity and Culture. His most recent title is One Kingdom: The Practical Theology of John M. Frame. He currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife, Bonnie.
