Rev. Ramon Robles Vargas

Rev. Ramón Robles Vargas is a church planter, pastor, and theologian with over three decades of ministry experience in Mexico, the United States, and Latin America. He has served as Co-Pastor of Iglesia Vida Nueva in Los Cabos, BCS (1989–1994), Pastor of Iglesia Emanuel in San José del Cabo, BCS (1995–2004), and Pastor of Iglesia El Refugio in San Diego, CA (2004–2012).

From 2013 to 2018, he was Professor of Systematic Theology with Hope International University in Los Angeles, teaching throughout Mexico and Latin America. He is currently a PhD candidate in Systematic Theology at Prodola University, focusing his research on missiological and sociological paradigms in the San Diego–Tijuana region.

Rev. Robles is the founder of the Capernaum Project in Ensenada, B.C., Mexico, a ministry dedicated to cross-cultural mission work and church planting. He is married to Susana Meraz Rodríguez, and they have seven children: David, Jonathan, Isaac, Alejandra, Alfred, Jeffrey, and Dante.
