Jeff Bagley

My name is Jeff Bagley, I’m a Georgia boy living in Alabama with my beautiful wife, Jeri, and our three precious daughters, Elyce, Josephine, and Mary Alice. After 8 years of working in a local church, primarily in youth ministry, the Lord has stirred in my heart a desire to pursue bi-vocational ministry. I see bi-vocational ministry as being similar to Paul’s tent making ministry as we see in Acts and other places in the New Testament(Acts 18:1-4,Acts 20:34-35,1 Thess 2:9). In this ministry, my primary mission field will be the employees of Evans Meats, a meat distribution company based in Birmingham, AL. Similar to Paul, my days will be centered around working with my hands and sharing the gospel. I will be maintaining a fleet of trucks for Evans Meats, while evangelizing and serving the people working for Evans Meats. It is my goal to reach the people of Evans Meats with the gospel, to encourage them into the local church, and to equip them to serve God's Kingdom. All of this will be done by a work of God's Spirit prayerfully through  relational ministry both in evangelism and in discipleship. Practically this will entail listening to people's stories, sharing the gospel with them, opening the Word with them, and then serving the churches of my presbytery through Word and Sacrament as I am given the opportunity. My family and I are deeply desirous of your prayers and support as we seek to follow God's call on our life.
