Rebecca (Becca) Barros -
Godsovereignly placedBecca’s workplace as a nurse one block from an abortion clinic in DowntownOrlando, where she met JohnBarros in 2014 and was first introduced to abortion ministry. After 7 years of daily prayerful support and serving by John’s side in Spiritual and physical preparation for each day at the clinic, God deepened their relationship in 2021 and were married in 2022 - one week before Roe vs. Wade was overturned. God Divinely put their complete ministry union in place at just the right time in history. Becca continued to provide daily support to John during the most severe persecution from pro-abortion activists as well as his increasing health challenges. John was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2023 and went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2024. In his final weeks and words, John urgedBecca to “get the word out.” WhileBecca initially assisted in the organization of his remaining team members to continue the “boots on the ground” presence at theOrlando abortion clinic, God provided her a clear vision of “equipping lay ministers to speak for the unborn” by speaking, training, and encouraging those entering or enduring this unique ministry, as well as offering supportive counsel for wives and ministry partners to this demanding mission. Faithful to God’s
calling and John’s final wishes, Becca is moving forward in this new direction of outreach and equipping in this much-needed ministry. Becca is grateful to God, REF, and supporters abroad. To God be the Glory - Great things He has done and is doing!
