As a Chaplain to the Art and Music Community of Birmingham, Alabama, endorsed by the PRCC and partnering with Reformed Evangelistic Fellowship as an Evangelist, I will be reaching out to the mission field of artists, musicians, and those who support them in obedience to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). In partnership with local churches in the gathering and perfecting of the saints, and with a focus on going after lost sheep (Luke 15:4-6), I am attending concerts and arts events, building relationships and seeking to form Bible Studies and Discussion Groups for those exploring the Christian Faith. I will also form groups for believing artists and musicians for encouragement and growth in their faith and work. In these groups I will get to teach regularly, and I will serve our presbytery in word and sacrament through filling in for local church pastors when given the opportunity. As an artist and musician myself, I am studying to grow in my skills so I can become part of these communities as a practitioner as well as a friend. My family and I have made Red Mountain Church (PCA) our home, and the pastors there have been a great encouragement and support to me and my ministry. I’m so thankful to be back in Birmingham to serve this great city.
